Is there an Airline Pilot Shortage?

Transportation

If you have been paying attention to the lying left-wing media coverage, They will blame the constant late or canceled commercial flights on an airline pilot shortage. What is really going on with the airlines? Is it that the money-grubbing entities are scheduling flights without pilots? I would like to offer a seemingly different strategy. How about trying to minimize the number of flights you are scheduling to fit the number of pilots you employ? That sounds reasonable. Certainly, we can understand that there will always be a small number of flights being canceled or departing late because someone called in sick, or weather related. But, this negligence can be resolved with a little planning. Ask yourselves this: Would a school fill a classroom of students knowing there are no teachers available to teach a class? That would be imposturous. So, why impose distress on customers who have a need to be somewhere, and on time? And what about this “demand” stuff? If I go to an airline’s reservations site, I check to see what flights are available and choose from a list that the airline company compiled, and choose from that list. I do not recall ever demanding that there be a flight that was not there. It’s not the customers demanding something, it’s the airlines creating their own problems demanding that there should be something. Quit pandering to the instant gratification crowd, as we are all aware of how instant gratification is unhealthy when it comes to such things as binge-watching, ride-sharing, fast food and a plethora of other matters including stress at the airport waiting for your plan to depart, all proven to be unhealthy for an individual.
